Who should attend the SHE Leads Conference? 

 

SHE Leads is open to all women; from all backgrounds and sectors. Whether you are an accomplished or aspiring leader the SHE Leads Conference offers an inspiring day of network building, skill development and empowerment.

The SHE Leads Conference creates a prestigious yet cost-effective opportunity for businesses and organisations to invest in their female staff and help them develop and strengthen their leadership potential.

SHE Leads is South Australia’s premier women’s leadership conference and we are confident that no matter what stage you are at on your leadership journey you will walk away feeling inspired, uplifted and ready to take on your next challenge!

Do you offer a group discount? 

We offer a group discount for tables of 8 participants (non-members). This is a great way for businesses to send multiple staff at a reduced rate! Table of 8 is $2100 (GST incl) which equates to $262.50 per ticket – a saving of $62.50 per ticket!

 

In 2018 businesses also have the opportunity to purchase a Corporate Supporter Table which includes a number of additional benefits to help your business be seen and to demonstrate your support for gender equality and women's leadership development. Can I pay for my ticket via invoice rather than credit card?

Where possible, we prefer tickets to be purchased via our website using a credit card. If this is not possible, we can arrange for you to be invoiced for your registration/s.

Why do tickets to the SHE Leads Conference cost significantly less than some other women's leadership conferences that I've seen advertised? Does this mean the quality is lower?

 

At YWCA we strive to ensure our events are accessible to all women, particularly young women. We try our best to keep our ticket costs as low as possible. Conferences can be costly events to host and we value the support of our corporate sponsors to help us to ensure that we can keep ticket prices down. 

However in keeping our costs down there is one thing we will absolutely not skimp on and that's quality. Our speakers are world renowned, our venue is state of the art and our program is jam packed full of practical and inspiring content that will ensure you walk away at the end of the day feeling that every cent spent on your leadership development was worth it.

Now in its 7th year, the SHE Leads Conference has inspired over 1000 South Australian women over the years with many returning year on year to continue to build and develop their leadership capacity. We are proud to offer a cost effective professional and personal development opportunity for women in SA!

 

Any chance I can get my hands on some complimentary tickets? 

We rely on sponsorship to provide scholarships/complimentary tickets to the SHE Leads Conference.

Are you going to feed us? 

We sure are! Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea is included in your ticket price. Catering will be light, stand-up style food. Our post conference networking function is also included in your ticket price and includes a drink and selection of canapes. If you have any dietary requirements, be sure to let us know when booking your ticket.

Will there be parking available?

There are two undercover car parking options directly under the Adelaide Convention Centre - the North Terrace Car Park and the Riverbank Car Park. Both car parks are open 24 hours and have a clearance height of 2.0 meters. Both car parks are fitted with automated payment stations which accept debit/credit card (please note there is a 1.5% surcharge for Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Diners).

 

The Adelaide Convention Centre is ideally located for a range of public transport options. There are a range of bus and tram stops at the doorstep and the Adelaide Railway Station is just a few meters away. Can I take photos/videos on the day?

Absolutely! We encourage you to share your experience on social media throughout the day. Tag us in your tweets and Instagram posts - @ywcaaustralia - and be sure to use the official hashtag - #SHELeads18

Will you be taking my photo on the day?

There will be photography and filming of the event which may be used by YWCA Australia and/or the Adelaide Convention Centre for promotional purposes including on the website, social media sites and in promotional materials.

If you do not want your photo to be taken please advise conference staff at the registration desk upon your arrival on the day. And if a photographer approaches you on the day feel free to politely decline to say ‘cheese’!

I have accessibility requirements – will the SHE Leads Conference cater to my needs? 

The SHE Leads Conference is committed to meeting accessibility requirements for delegates. The Adelaide Convention Centre is wheelchair accessible and Auslan interpretation of presentations is provided.
